This is Evala, a character from my NaNoWriMo story. I like to call her the girl of such unfortunate birth. She has mixed blood (not a Mary Sue) and the blood mixing gave her traits of all the races. The gold-flecked skin is from her Eternal blood. Her purple and gold eyes from her Elder blood and her furry ears from her Felis blood. The mixing of Elder blood and Eternal blood made the glass-like scales in her hair purple. Just to sort of prove that she isn't a Mary Sue, she doesn't have crazy powers from all of the races. She can -kind of- do magic (not extensive stuff), she has better agility than normal women and she doesn't have as strong a taste for blood like the Elders. She isn't the only of her kind but it is rare because the Eternals are strict about interbreeding (they killed her mom after she had Evala) and her father's mixed blood is more common, you could see someone like him almost everyday in the peninsula country of Crermery.

Sorry I felt like I had to prove something.

Well this was done in Photoshop CS with a Wacom tablet. No clue how long it took but I did do an extensive pencil shaded version of it first. It wasn't anything fancy just a long coloring job.

I may put a battlefield in the background and change the lighting.

I WILL KILL ANYONE IF THEY STEAL THIS!

AllisonPOYay colors~ ^_^

This is absolutely gorgeous; I especially love how you colored her hair, as the highlights are very nicely mixed in with the rest of the hair (that made NO sense...). For a small little critique, I think her hand is a tad thin, width wise (unless that's part of her character design, sorry o.o).

And if it's any reassurance or anything, I don't think she sounds like a Mary-Sue at all. She sounds like quite the well developed, interesting character. ^_^ Do you happen to plan on uploading the story to FAC, by any chance?

Lovely picture!
