I guess that depends on to what extent you were thinking of her design as containing reptilian or amphibious elements (not sure without context of background) and to what extent you were seeing her as just looking alien... Either way, she's pretty cool, though.

Well it is a newt. It was moreso along the lines of how amphibians lack the fur to be considered 'furry' :P

It's an easy mistake to make, haha! He's definitely on the feminine side. I'm making a reference sheet for him right now that shows that he is, however, undoubtedly male :P
