first and foremost, i owe a thank-you or two to a few people. first, my big brother for being a cool big bro (most of the time) but mainly for helping me get the positions and proportions right. arigato, ni-san. <3 second, lilycat145 for letting me use her scanner. i really, really, REALLY didn't want my scanner to screw with this one, because personally, i think the coloring job in this one is better than i usually manage. thx, lilycat.
sooooo... yeah. originally, the petals were going to be splatters of blood, but then i realized (with the help of big bro) that blood doesn't really 'float' like that. oh, well. i had been debating with myself on changing them to flower petals anways, so yeah. i think it turned out all the better. enjoy! ^_^
