I looked at a lot of traditional wood block prints before making this pic. I felt since Ryoko loves period stuff so much she'd be in to it.<br />

I'm thinking of doing some other pics exploring this style more, since this pic barely scraches the surface.<br />

Genraly I feel that color is a painterly concern (dercotive and unessary in most drawing), and since very little of my fan art is aproached as a painting it dosen't frequently show up in my work. <br /><br />
I do sometimes use color, b/c it is so in demand.<br />

wow that's really pretty!! have you ever thought about coloring your art??? like maybe CGing it because you have wonderful lineart to do that.
