A portrait done of myself in chacoals. FAC denied me submission due to the fact it was "Suspicious Activity." Let's hope it goes through this time, shall we?

:) I can understand why they may have suspected this as "suspicious." But I also know artwork done in a class compared to a cartoon style done on one's own is usually pretty drastic. It's the same with me.
Anyways, this is gorgeous. You really nailed the range of values here. *applauds*

yea.. so.. maybe i just took my time with this piece instead of drawing cartoons like i normally do. really, this took 18 hours.. my cartoons take 5 minutes. >.o but, this piece is signed by me, and it is legitimate. so, blah. =) and yes, my other stuff is very very old. most of it was done before i started taking realism lessons 5 months ago. i'm a fast learner.. ^^;

I'd think it's suspicious too o.o it's a HUGE jump in skill/style level compared to the rest of your gallery. o.o

how old is the rest of your stuff?
