AriaGunnirI know in Thanos comics Death was female...  In the book from Piers Anthony, "Riding a Pale Horse," it was a he... The hero of the book was going to commit suicide, but then saw Death and got scared and shot Death... Death died and he had to take Death's job...  Then again in the old tv series "Dead Like Me" the job belongs to several people, both male and female.

uh.... wasnt Death a she anyway? i seem to remember reading old legends that always reffered to Death as "she" ^^ heh... Death in my story is female too mostly coz of that.

falkonns_flightIt's generally up to interpretation. In some comics, Death is a she, or in some old plays (Shakespeare's time) Death was a she. But death is also a he sometimes.
