Thirty-two's scars explained

Okay, so we all remember Thirty-two having all those nasty scars all the way down his back, right? Well, they had to get there somehow, and this somehow just happens to be it.

Why is this happening to him? Well, in case you aren't familiar with Thirty-two's (as well as Thirteen's, etc.) lifestyle, they can barely make it when it comes to getting food (which is kinda obvious, if you keep up with the physique going on in my drawings!). Most of the time, they take up an odd job to earn a bit of money, or resort to eating out of the garbage if business is slow. It is very rare that they steal, but they will do it if desperate.

Well, Thirty-two just happened to be that desperate. Unfortunately, he also happened to be that ticked-off and cocky as well. So cocky, in fact, that he decides to steal form the dictator's personal food supply...Needless to say, he doesn't get away with it.

Why is he naked? I DO, in fact, have a good explaination! In Bartholomew, they really don't care about what anyone considers to be decent or not. They also really like the concept of "adding insult to injury". That's where nude floggins come in. Not only are you feeling the sting of the whip, but the sting of embarassment as well. It's like a horrible two for one special!
