This was a request for my younger sisters friend :D
Well, this style of picture is a little different to what I usually do, but i think it turned out alright considering this. The girl I drew it for loves dolphins, so I think she will like it. I havn't given it her yet, but I can't wait! well i used derwent, crayola, and faber castel pencils for this drawing. It also took me AGES to complete! I think i started it a few months back lol but i only really started to colour it last week :D
i hope you all like it, and i would really appreciate any comments at all for this picture, as I would like to know what you all think :D

well, let's see if i can remember what i said the first time...
...wow, this is impressive. i'm glad you tried something different, it's better to be well rounded at more than one thing. an underwater scean? now that's challenging and a very difficult thing to do successfully, and with colored pencils too? i wouldn't even be able to do something like this. it's amazing what you can do with colored pencils and it seems like you went through different brands of them to complete this. lol, yeah something like this would take ages wouldn't it? everything is filled in and no white. ooo, i agree the reflections of light on the dolphins' backs is very well done, i wouldn't know how you would do that sucessfully. love the rays of sunlight coming from the surface, and how you did that color change from aqua blue to dark blue cause i have an underwater poster in my room that i'm looking off, lol, and that's true to real life. yeah it looks like you know how to blend your pencils very well. ooo, and i like how you made the rock on the top corner have bold lines. cause it makes it look like it's closer and you're in this under sea cavern looking up at these dolphins. but i think you could have done the same kinda thing with the coral(which is very well done and colorful) in the corners too. wow, loving those sand dunes, much more interesting than just a flat sandy floor. and this is just an interesting pic to look at. cause the fish in the back background each have their own indivigual movement and placement than just floating around. so it looks like there was a lot of thought put into this. they seem to look less detailed and more flat, but it gives the illusion that they are in the distance so you can focus on the main animal: the dolphins. lol, i know your younger sister's friend is going to flip at what a great job you did and of course the dolphins in it (don't know if you already gave it to them yet). ok, i think that was all, lol, told ya it was long, but there was just alot to comment on :). overall, a very interesting, impressive and challenging looking pic, blew me out of the water! >_O pardon the stupid joke, lmao.
