My first original character in chalk!

Description

This is my first original character, I have put on this website. And I can safely say she is rubbish. Her face is all wrong. But that's not really why I put this drawing in.
I found me a new medium -chalks!
I love them! This picture was just a quick experiment at shading and blending chalks. You can get such wonderful blends of colours using them.
This is meant to be a girl sitting on a beach, in her dreams.
I only spent about a half an hour on her at most. So the results weren't good. But it was just an experiment with chalks anyway.

Lovely work on the background. All the different colors give it a beautiful effect. The position of the girl is drawn nicely as well. ^^

Well, they are called decorating chalks. They come in, almost like a paint box. In little cubes of colours. And they are fantastic to use! So easy and pretty to use. You can blend them so well. I'd recomend them to anyone!
