When I lived in L.A. a few years ago and applied to Film Roman & other studios, this was one of the tests I took for BG layout.

Didn't get on the crew- pretty competitve.

Wow this is really good. This is way better than what I drew a couple semesters back. We had to draw the Simpsons kitchen for our final. We also had to have three Homers standing around in different places to show scale. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I was working at the time in an office to pay rent, so I couldn't get the test back to them next day.

They said a few days was OK, realizing most people are working that apply places, but you can't always trust what people say.

sadly, if you realy want to get on to the production team you gotta be quicker with the same level of accuracy, Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. Gotta get'em done and out to the color team.
