Because Bruce Lee felt that Karate's broken motion and Wing Chun flashy techniques suppressed the combatant's freedom to expand, his martial arts style of Jeet Kune Do incorporating various styles of fighting thus breaking away from the traditional teachings... Daring to teach none Asians pupils, The Dragon was force into physical clashes (which he won) with other martial artists throughout his life... He blazed a path for today's Asian Martial Arts movie stars such as Jackie Chan and Jet Li... His sudden death in July 20, 1973 shocked the world, but even today Bruce Lee is consider the high Master Of Martial Arts... I consider him a legend and a modern myth for future generations...
