jiraI guess it all comes down to the books we read and extended reasearch done on myths! But it's all still good reading and other points of view, just feed our creative concepts... Thank you...

Black_BreezeHmm. I read that Anubis was first the god of the underworld, but then gave the title to Osiris when he came in. I dunno, that's the version I always knew and kinda kept with! Besides, wasn't Horus his son, because of the magic Isis used to have Osiris alive for one night? You made Osiris look so powerful in here! Awsome!

jiraWe're both going by different sorce of references and where myths are concern I tend to go with the version I feel most comfortable with... Recommended reading "Gods and Goddesses" by Time-Life books...

Daughter_of_AnubisAnubis is actually the son of Seth and Nephthys, but was later adopted by Isis and Osiris. when Osiris died Anubis aided Isis and Nephthys in preserving his body. anyway nice picture. *adds to faves*

jiraThank you for your feed back! Despite my extensive research where the Myths are concern, I do know that all the stories may varied, but the interpretations I go with are the ones that intrique me the most!

But isn't it great that we have so many myths versions from which to choose... Thank you for your in-put!

Sanokurai did a report on anubis, anyways....osiris was the god of embalming, i heard nothing about him being the creator, though i guess it depends where you look. he died. anubis, at the same time was god of the dead. when osiris died, anubis watched over the embalming of his body. osiris then became god of the dead, and anubis became god of embalming. basically they switched places. but hey...im only 16...what do i know? i only did a report on anubis last year......oh well

DragonicFlamesAh, But some people say that Anubis was here before Osiris, and that Osiris is the son of Anubis. But It's rather confusing at times when you read stuff in books and on websites that conflict matters. But I still favor Anubis. ^^; So you might be right and I might be right, but it's just way too counfusing for one to search out. Personally I have neither the time nor the patenice to read up all the info. on the topic of who is whom.

Xx; anyway, Nice work!
