alpha: Falcon Rider (Respite)

Description

Stopping for a moment’s respite, the Falcon Rider has the forest nymph feed pomegranate juice to re-invigorate the giant falcon, for the long journey ahead...

I very rarely use life subjects for any of my artwork unless commissioned to do so, but the young lady (Tamnia) used here, was just too lovely to ignore that I just had to incorporate her appearance in this fantasy concept... Original pencil artwork on 11”X14” Bristol board, your comments are most welcome...

Thank you "Fluffybunny", but the trick to making certain things visible through wings, is not to completely connect the lines from within the wing to the background... Thanks again!

the detail... i love the Falcon rider@s outfit. you did a great job on it. i also am amazed at the nymph's wings. i can never make anything look see through. great work!

I love the angles you used for the characters in this drawing, and also how the pomgranate juice runs down the falcon's beak. It's all in all another job well done.

Woha what an amazing pic. I'd love to it with color tho even without color there is an insane amount of detail.
