Description

Stopping for a moment’s respite, the Falcon Rider has the forest nymph feed pomegranate juice to re-invigorate the giant falcon, for the long journey ahead...

I very rarely use life subjects for any of my artwork unless commissioned to do so, but the young lady (Tamnia) used here, was just too lovely to ignore that I just had to incorporate her appearance in this fantasy concept... Original pencil artwork on 11”X14” Bristol board, your comments are most welcome...

jiraThank you "Fluffybunny", but the trick to making certain things visible through wings, is not to completely connect the lines from within the wing to the background... Thanks again!

jiraThanks a lot “Kittyduck” for your astute observation! I’m always pleasantly surprise to hear such considerable descriptive view about the subtle parts of the scene’s makeup and thankful for your considerable attention to the detail work involved... Muchas Gracias!

KittyduckI love the angles you used for the characters in this drawing, and also how the pomgranate juice runs down the falcon's beak. It's all in all another job well done.

jiraThanks "Allester"; Tamnia is a very good-looking girl I agree! But it's her unique spirit as a person (besides her beauty) that makes this concept work! Thanks again!
