Flower and and Clarissa, when they were little, from my newest manga! :D<br />

Okay, me tell you some of the story....^^; Flower was an orphan merman who was a bit vicious at times, so the King gave him over the humans, to put in a aquarium, test on him and such, which of course made him very unhappy! :( Anyway, Clarissa came through the aquarium, she saw him and got her daddy to buy him as a pet! :D They fall in love of course, but around 16, he kisses her, forgetting a kiss would turn her into a mermaid. When she finds herself developing gills and scales, she tells him that she hates him, which stops the transformation. Her father finds out and orders Flower to, well, be "put down", so he escapes....somehow! O_o Then of course, Clarissa meets the pirates Gitnan and Alano when she's about 20 and the story goes from there!
