Takahashi2OkiI used to use oil pastels. It was messy and expensive.

killerrabbit05When I do actually get around to coloring, I tend to use the trusty childhood colored pencil. Now that I have some of my own watercolor paints, though, I may start to color with those (I still have tweeks to work out when using watercolor though) 8}

Takahashi2OkiSame here. There seems to be a serious lack of erasers around. But I tend to try to do all of my pictures in one sitting. It saves time, and if I lose the feel of the picture, it's likely I won't even finish it.

killerrabbit05I usually do stuff in steps. For stuff in pencil, I do all at once... but usually one character at a time. Other stuff I sketch in pencil, outline with fine tip pens, then color. But it takes forever for me to get to that. When I color, it often results weeks later : )

Takahashi2OkiI'm curious, how long did this take you?

Your art is always consistent, and never one-step-behind from your last work.

killerrabbit05Hmm... well, I don't think I did it all at one sitting... but maybe an hour total per character??? I tend to erase stuff ALOT!!! Thanks for the compliments!
