LOL I'm getting worse and worse with titles...

ANYWAYS... Request for Aqua swimming. I figured I take a bit of a twist on it and play around with the perspective and color.

I cannot BELIEVE how fast this one cranked itself out... Guess it comes from drawing so much lately, and I was ACTUALLY still in the mood. Yes, I can only do it for so long. Which I hate sometimes. >.<
Granted, I was lazy and didn't hand-make the bubbles, nor did I draw the good majority of her armor... I figured that would be a major hindrance when swimming. And I was a bit tired of bathing suits... -_-
Anyways, enjoy the awesomeness that is Aqua!!! I'm so excited for this game!!!! CAN IT BE SEPTEMBER NOW?!?!?! (minus school starting, thank you)

]; She has such a sad expression. The oxygen bubbles definitely gives the effect of drawing. ]; I think drawing can be one of the worst deaths ever.

I was wondering how people would interpret this picture
To be honest, I tried to make it so one could say it looks like she's sinking OR it looks like she's rising; a sort of bittersweet situation. I hope I didn't ruin that element for anyone! :S

From my view, it seemed like the extra amount of bubbles seemed like there was a struggle, and when someone rises up the water, it seems more of a natural serene feel rather than a hard struggle.

Although, I CAN see how it can work both ways because the movement here seems to be going up. Her hand is outstretched to grab up to the light(which might represent either drawing or rising, I'm not sure on that one). Still, this can clearly be interpreted as both, but I found it more as drowning. ;P

You did not ruin the double entente element at all!

Very true, very true... It COULD use a few less bubbles to really emphasize the ambiguity... ;)

Haha, she's a character from the new Kingdom Hearts game, Birth by Sleep, that's supposed to come out in September... I think the storyline is a bit more on the serious side compared to those from the rest of the series.
