P.S. I went and posted the images on the forum and apparently this is what it means (response copied and pasted):

Chinese never really does :P The grammar is actually reversed. If you were to say "I like both of them ", a literal translation in Chinese would be "Both of them I like". So yeah, it's really weird :D And I guess I wasn't that far off with the meaning too!

Wow, and I thought Japanese grammar was odd. In Japanese, "it is a pen" would be literally translated as "pen it is". Hm, actually, the grammar is similar.
