Description
This is a mosaic of The Thing. This was inspired by art by Stuart Immonen from Ultimate Fantastic four. It measures apporoximately 25 by 29 inches and weighs a ton. I used sculpey (a clay that is cut, baked, and painted) for the Things Hide. His shirt is tile and the background is stained glass. I used blue marbles for his eyes. A dremmel tool was used to give some of the rocky features a more life like appearance, then filled with black grout. What do ya think?? Check my other fan-4 pieces.
