O my gosh, lotsa comments! Your art deserves it though. I love this picture; you are so good at creating a feeling of life and personality in your "portraits".

Okay, so other people are seeing cats... is it just me, or does that purple flower by her cheek have angel wings? Maybe it's just white leaves, but for some reason that was one of the first things I noticed. *shrugs*

Ohh I never interpreted those leaves to look like wings, but they kind of do all of a sudden, especially since I only added two. *0* Yes....they could be wings!

That's fantastic! Such wonderful use of colours, and the hand to me looks very nicely done, especially since I have so much trouble with it.

only critique i can come up with is that your lines could be defined more and lots more dimension would be awesome because the character sort of blends in with your back ground perhaps its a contrast issue, but this looks really nice i like the proportions

I LOVE how you use a bunch of different colors to get the skin tone and it's inspired me to try doing it myself, but maybe the nose is a little too pale/purple-ish? But, of course, I don't question style, and the nose looks really sweet here. :) But, her ear could be worked on to have more... shell-like quality with the bumps of the cartilage and... Ugh, how do I explain an ear in TYPING?! Okay, just feel the inside of your ear for a sec. ... Feel those risings and dips (canyons, if you will) around the ear hole? If realistic-ness is your goal, maybe add more of that dimension in the ear. Add more shadows and highlights where you deem necessary, 'cause in the pic, it looks too much like a hole in her head. Heh, that's my best at bein' a critic here, and that's the only thing I can really nitpick about. XD You asked for it in great, big, black letters!

Critiques huh? Ah just one thing, it's a little hard to distinguish what things are, aside from the woman. Like the waterfall(?) and some of the flowering.
But omg I just LOVE her eyes, and the specs trailing them on the sides! :D Beautiful blend of colors, amazing art as always. ^^ *faves*

You're right. D; They are waterfalls. The background is supposed to be large trees and waterfalls with exotic flowers all around. I did not want to make the bg too detailed because the viewer's eye might lose focus in the woman, but in the end it had its own problems. ;/ Thanks again btw!

lol well I'll say again, they are really awesome! :D I think the specks help point out the water around/behind her, they just seem like something an amazon lady or mermaid might have on her face. (lol IDK)

Oh I know what you mean now, good point. I need to work on making stuff/people look less detailed when they're far away, I always forget about that. ^^;

I hope for those stupid operating systems to become extinct! I want the database and microchips for that system to be destroyed in a giant fire!!! I spent 3 years in middle school working with those, and I could STILL not get used to them. Their controls are off, you cannot even copy and paste correctly, it is NOT user friendly. The only thing good about it is its colors and icons graphics- which I find quite a waste of time if that's the only thing good about it. >:/

I really like Macs~ They're easy to use. I'm no good with PCs. I worked with Macs for four years and am completely comfortable using them. And they're purdy~

The left eye is farther away from the nose than the right is, the ears look rather small, and somewhat squished.
Her head on the right side is flatish, while the left side has a cheekbone that's visable~ hmm.
That's all i can come up with! It looks wonderful Buu-chan :)

HAHAHAH I cheated so much. I defined the ear, but it still looked weird to me, so I gave her an earing so people would pay more attention to that than the ear. xD HAHHA

Critique: The nose leans to the right too much, and is not in proper alignment with the eyes which are slightly too far apart. also her mouf looks a tad crooked, but otherwise it's great!;P

I love all the strokes and the amount of colors used, they really add to the depth of the picture. And her eyes look lovely, especially the green speckles- they remind me of sparkly makeup or sequins! ^_^
As far as critique... hmm... Well the hand holding he orange looks a bit too small compared to her face, and I think her neck looks a bit on the thick side for a woman. It can't get too much thinner, but maybe try to elongate it; that could help add a more feminine touch.
Otherwise, this looks great!

I like her sea green eyes and the way you curved her mouth into a smirk.The sparkle on the eye shadow is very attractive and the way she's holding that orange it's almost as though she's tempting you with some tasty treats( and not necessarily, of the fruit variety,He he.)

Though my minor issues with this drawing are her nose as it appears to look a bit smooched together,and the index & middle finger holding the orange look sort of stiff.

But other then that it's a real work of art.
PS: What type of flower is that sitting right next to the woman on the left?

The fingers do look stiff! D; Ahhh curses. Now when you say the nose is smushed, you you think I should add less shadow on it so it won't have so much dept, or is it the size? O; Some other artists have had an issue with it, so I am not sure which one is the case here.

Thank-you! the picture was originally going to be smooth and dark/bland looking with normal lending colors, but then my coloring senses kicked in and I made her a rainbow. xD AAHAHAH because I tend to make eveyrthing a rainbow. D:

I KIND OF added more flesh on the fingers, but only a little. I used my own hand as a reference, and someone said it looked small, so that may have been the cause. I think I'll work with more hand anatomy later in other pictures! Dx

No... I mean more it looks uneven. I think you should've added like a little curl or something in front of her ear to even out the left and right... Sorry I'm sorta OCD and I can't even stomp one foot without stomping the other foot and then I feel uneven again so I stomp the first foot again and to even it out I have to jump on both feet a couple times so both feet are equally stomped on XD

Hmm, the right side of her lips seem skinnier than the left side, unless she is half smiling. The fingers also seem a tad pit skinny and it seem like her forehead is just a little bit big, in my opinion anyway. =|
You're coloring is great. ^^

I shaded her forehead to give a sort of bronze look to blend it more with the rest of the face. I guess part of the problem was because it was more pale then the rest of the face. ;/

It is a very androgenous picture. I really can't tell if it is a woman, or a guy dressed as a woman. Although it could be I'm jaded from hanging around drag queens for a week. Anyway, your face symmetry looks spot on. The hair bothers me, it looks smoothe on the right side, but the left looks really rough. The shading is beautifully done in your style and the overall idea is wonderful. This is a good first picture for changing programs.

Can't wait to see the next one.

Since you asked for some critic, here's my 2 cents. For some reason, the right side of her head goes outward than in, instead of sloping down like the right side of her face. I don't know if that is because of the flower she is holding in her hand, but it is something that stood out to me. I do love the gentle gaze of her green eyes.

I think the problem is that the cheek pops out for one side of her face and doesn't for the other. I tried to add more skin and space for the right side and emphasized some face structures. Tell me what you think! You can check out the changes in full-view!

you are improving, but i always have something to critique ok here we go..i would suggest you work more on the ear it looks odd to me and put some more hair on our left side of her head, the head structure on our right looks a bit off too so maybe you could fix that

the pic looks great. the only thing that i would critique is the nose looks a little wide at the top to me.
as for the coloring i would soften up the lines a little on the shadowing around the nose(right side)
