Description

This is a Asian counterpart of the Madam A'Rosa picture before. She is a pretty Asian witch that seeks power from a stolen enchanted rose. Reminds me of the movie Tangled. It was an okay movie. Too much fairytale and not enough random kung-fu fighting though! P;

I drew this over my 3-week Vietnam trip. The Vietnam pictures online are pretty accurate. Fishing house here, child beggar here, occasional mugger there.

I am still quite pressed for time nowadays. BYE! Good luck to all of you! <3

Ah thanks a lot! I was debating without myself whether I should make the ENTIRE picture blue or put in hues of yellow. The yellow worked out okay! Everyone likes random colors!

WOO! This picture is BEAUTIFUL. In all honesty, I like it a lot better than its counterpart (not to say that the other is any less beautiful, just that this one appeals to me more).

Thank-you so much! I definitively worked harder with the detail(since I had so much time in Vietnam!) on this one, so I am immeasurably happy that it showed compared to the previous orange one that I drew when I was locked out of the house on accident. LOL

She's beautiful... The dots on her cheeks make me think of both freckles and dew drops.
I love all the different structures (makes me want to experiment more with ink /cross hatch). I like how it mixes blues and ”antique" yellows and then concentrates them right around the golden tint of the flower beside the white and blue of her face.

On a side note, I don’t mind that the eyes are asymmetrical in position; most real people don’t have perfectly level eyes, and it’s not enough of a difference to look unbalanced.

Wow, thanks for the detailed comment! Hah, its been a while since someone has actually told me specific details of the pictures and explained their feelings for it.

Any criticism, tips? :P You seem like the possible good source of creative criticism.

Yeah! I meant the "freckles" to be sort of jem stones on her cheeks, and I experimented with the blue and copper yellow to get the nice blend I wanted. I was going to make her eyes yellow, but I was afraid it would distract the viewer form the real focus, the flower. Thanks a lot!!!

Yes, yellow eyes would have drawn focus, and I'd say it would've ruined the cold impression of her. (Maybe a sharp reflection of the rose's yellow would have worked, but it would have had to be obvious that the color came from the rose and not her.)

Is that so!!! ;U A fellow Vietnam inhabiter? Man, I left when I was about 5, so I truly did not know enough about it to say it change. It was such a cultural shock. Great learning experience as well. Pretty hot girls and boys here and there without the excess makeup.

You could say that Vietnam is getting a TINY TINY TINY TINY bit less socialist, but not really. They are upgraded economically though. They have air conditioning now. =u= -but only for those that can afford it, lol.

Ooh, nice. The eyes are beautiful, as are her lips and the rose. This pic seems to be a little darker than your other posts (but that's probably because I'm so used to seeing those numerous, bright orange colors that are usually in your pictures) and I like it! :D

Her freckles are really cute and definitely add to her face (I think they're freckles... if not, then the dark circle things under her eyes. Perhaps some kind of make-up some women do? Ehehehe... ^__^U Either way, it's really nice). Heee, and I see the kitty! ^w^

WHO TOLD YOU MY TERRIBLE SECRET THAT I WORK IN PEN?!!! I will crucify this person!!! lol jk, yeah! I am glad my black ballpoint pen did not run out of ink here. @-@ Oh wait, it DID!!! I used PS to change the colors so no one would notice that the 2 black ink pens have different hues(you know, that annoying black pen that has really dark purple color). If you want, you can try pen and ONLY pen yourself! Just tell yourself, "No matter what, I am not allowed to throw away this picture. I have to keep drawing with this uneraserable pen." That is how you get good with the pen and let go of the fear of making mistakes- and then you will be the perfect most excellent sexy artist like me! HA HA HA *egotistic laugh at sky* lol

LOl I love your comments. They are spontaneous and fun, and those type of comments are usually from the heart! Back when I had time and time and time to cruise through FAC, my comments were just like yours, but then high school got life-threatening and life-sucking. ;--; Maybe over the summer before college, lol.
