Hey Saltwater! Thanks for the comment.It's true that SW herself was based on a (more official) -nother picture, but the background was adapted by me! [I remember seeing a group of gnarly, twisted-looking rotten trees surrounding the princess as she escaped from (the gingerbread man) the Queen's huntsman, with their branches curled into fingers. That's where the evil trees came from. :D I also remembered several eyes pop out and flash every coupla' seconds.. so that's that.

I appreciate your comment, Firiel. ;0; I'm usually terrible at coloring in the lighting—I based this drawing off a ref pic on Google (ofc). SW's face is actually more elongated when I drew her; the same goes for her (usually jet black) hair and dress collar. 8D
