Description
this is a batik its done by melting wax and spreading it over the cloth (we used crayons for the wax) then when it cools you stick it into dye to place color where you left places in the picture (your not supposed to color the whole thing in with the wax this is what creates the effect you see in batik) then when it has been dyed as long as you desire place it between newspaper and iron off all the wax. you keep doing this till the cloth is soft again and you have a batik!
