For some reason the name Whitney calls to mind one of the old Pokemon Gym Leaders... I believe the 4th one in silver/gold.

The is a twelve-yea-old possum-hybrid who is a citizen of Moonglow City when the Demekarr incident happens. She's basically been spawned from a roleplay. :)
