Oooh geez O_O the Death Demon!!! Yikes!! I feel sorry for the person who is looking up at her right now >_O
Alright, the Death Demon or Demon of Death is the creator and master of the Faceless Demons. She created them to inject their chii into souls to make them powerful for her own spiritual army. She, of course, had a feeling after the Faceless Demons were with humans long enough, they would want to break away from her to inspect them. To keep them under control, she tore out her own eyes and fused them into the very chii that the Faceless Demons were created in, thus creating the Eye of Demons. She did this so she could 'watch' over the Faceless Demons. When the Eye of Demons is activated, neither the host/hostess or the Faceless Demon is in control, it's the Death Demon. So pretty much the Eye of Demons is actually the Death Demon's eyes >_O Whenever she removes her hood, all there is for eyes are huge black sockets D= She's not the Grim Reaper; she's a level below him.
Actually, some demons and humans aren't quite sure what gender she really is. Since she looks mostly female, they consider her to be female. It's hard to tell sometimes though >_O But, most books refer it to a 'she'.
You may notice the symbol for the Eye of Demons on her chest. That's just a tatoo symbol; it's not the real thing.

ooooooo wow a creeper, you said that Akako loses a chunk of her cheek when she's controlled right? nice weapon. thanks for a brief description, creepy that the gender is unknown, but yeah looks more female. lol, I see why Akako would be so scared of her. very cool pic and neat angle. yeah the whole grim reaper thing is used to much in my story, the main villain is a damned reaper, ooo got to color him and get him posted eventually, he's one of my brother's OCs. melina678 on June 8, 2008, 1:41:04 PM

yeah, all of the Faceless Demons fear her, but only Jaakuna respects her. Jaakuna is like her little lap dog I swear >_> yeah, the Reaper had heard rumors that the Death Demon was trying to over throw him so now there's this whole big conspiracy...hence why she needs the spiritual army o_O yep, Akako looks a chunk of her cheek, just like the Death Demon has.
