Poor Batman. Forever stigmatized by the fact that pretty much everything he owns was named the 'bat'- something or other in the fifties.

Actually, the tradition was started when he first came out in '39! The 60's tv show continued to add to the 'bat-' themes (and embarrassments)in the character's arsenal XD

I was just thinking about when my little sister was showing me some of the old black-and-white tv show. (the villains were a lot smarter then. When the captive asked what they were planning, they answered, "We're not going to tell you!")
