OK, practical reason works too. :)I was wondering if it was symbolic or something... like, to him nobody else seems real, as if he is the living person, and we are the wraiths.

Well in my story he is part of a dead demonish circus. Later in the story he comes into the real world (hunting the main character.... though I haven't written this part yet. Its just part of the synopsis). So he is isolated from the real world. I was kind of thinking of a shopping street or city area when their are so many people but you are isolated from them. The "ghost" appears to be the only being on the page who is solid...
