You mean to hook your DS up to? None needed with the wireless function built into the DS. Just be within 30 feet of the system.

On the start menu, choose "other things", "Wi-Fi settings", and choose "start" Now you should be in the "Wi-Fi Connection Setup" section. Choose "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings", any of the "Connection 1/2/3", "search for an access point", and if it finds the system, you should be good to go. (I'm explaining this very thorough since I can't show you.)
Now, when you talk to Copper, you'll need to get your friend code. Then talk again and choose whether you want to visit a town or have a visitor, and when he ask how, choose Wi-FI. You should get a connection.

it needs a WEP KEy or something. I asked my step-dad and he said he knows what it's talking about, but he needs to look it up. It's also my mom's birthday today, so when I asked he looked at me stupidly and said "It's mom's Birthday." and I said, "I know! But what's the code? Or when can you get it for me?" Then he, as always, ignored my question and started asking me what I've done for my mom's birthday. Last night he asked me if I'd even put any thought into it -_- yeah, I got silently pissed off that he was accusing me of not thinking of my own mom, but ya'know. It's not like I can drive a car to Walmart or anything -_- I'll try to get the WEP ASAP
