Yeah, ultimately my character didn't end up looking anything like this (her outfit, anyway) but I thought the sketch itself was worth throwing up here.

I believe that Dame is considered an equal social rank to Knight for females, but I don't know of any word for knight as in "chivalrous warrior" which carries female connotations. Given a kingdom in which knights were of both genders, I'd guess that you'd either just use "knight" for both, or "knightess" as the feminine. *shrugs*rlkitten on August 5, 2012, 12:44:37 PM
