dont try to keep your pencil on the paper the whole time. be as sketchy as you like, theres always an eraser. also, always carry a sketchbook. that way you can look at people or pictures and notice the way things are shaped so you can get really good at drawing. just try drawing stick figures in different positions to get the real feel for a position. then you can add on things like clothes and the body. try going to a public place and just drawing different people or things, and it doesnt have to be exact just the basic idea.
