Contest Entry for Tuxedo_Mini_Mask Pokemon Contest.

Here's my entry, the Legendary Pokemon Solequyn and Lunequyn!
----------------------------------------------------------

Name: Solequyn *pronounced soul-ek-whine* (Meaning: Sun-Horse)

Attacks: Swift Comet 120+ damage (His body becomes an actual fiery comet. He can get up to speeds of mach 5. As he passes you, the skin can burn right off your flesh; he needn’t even touch you to inflict the damage.), Solar Bomb 150+ damage (The Sun Star on his face glows and shoots a white-hot sunbeam at his opponent. It is extremely accurate and has the effect of a Nuclear bomb, devastating everything in its path.)

Comet Attack---> http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-715028.html

Evolution Level: N/A

Evolved Forms: none

Location: The surface of the sun. He lives there his whole life except when breeding and passing his Sun Star to his son on earth. It has been rumored that one could lure him to earth by capturing a Lunequyn.

Type: Legendary/Fire

Description: The legendary Pokemon has been seen by very few people, and when he was spotted on earth, the people have only seen him in his Comet form; a colossal fire-comet in the crude shape of a horse. His true form is only revealed to his mate. Once every 5,000 years, this rare and exceptionally beautiful Pokemon leaves his home on the sun to come to earth and breed with the lead Lunequyn mare. He cannot stay away from his star for too long, though, or the sun will burn out. Solequyn keeps the sun lit and gets all his energy from the Sun Star, the rock on his face. It is coveted by many as a source of energy and power, but Solequyn can’t live without it, and neither can the sun, or the planet. He passes it down to his son, and dies shortly afterwards. It is his son’s duty from then on to keep it safe and far away from power-hungry humans.
------------------------------------------------------

Name: Lunequyn *pronounced loon-ek-whine* (Meaning: Moon-Horse)

Attacks: Stomp 20 damage, Kick 20 damage, Head-butt 30 damage, Body Slam 50 damage

Special Attacks: SUPER NOVA (body melts into the stars, making it impervious to all attacks), MOONBEAM 100+ damage (this attack is usually only done on the moon to show dominance over other Lunequyn. When it is performed, the moon takes on a reddish color that can be seen from earth.)

Evolution Level: N/A

Evolved Forms: Evolve from falling stars.

Location: With the exception of the dominant mare, all Lunequyn reside on the surface of the moon for their life span of 10,000 years. The leadmare will often come to earth at night to feed, but only in private areas like Mt. Moon or Purity Mountain, where humans seldom reside.

Type: Legendary/Normal

Description: Thought to be a mere character in bedtime stories, Lunequyn is a rare, but very beautiful horse-type Pokemon. They live in a large herd on the moon. All Lunequyn are mares (female). Because of their incredible life span, they only breed once every 5,000 years, and only the leadmare is allowed to breed. She spends her lifetime eating moonrocks, as her womb must take on the form of a ‘brick-oven’ in order to hold the growing sun-horse inside, least it burn through her before it’s fully developed. When the time comes, the Lunequyn mare meets on earth with the Solequyn stallion to mate. Solequyn returns to the sun, while Lunequyn stays on earth for an entire year to feed on succulent grasses. Unfortunately, when the years is up and the new sun-horse is born, the lead Lunequyn mare must sacrifice her own life in order to give life to the foal. The same goes for the Solequyn stallion. The new Solequyn (ALWAYS a stallion) then chooses his new mare to begin the cycle all over again.

Lunequyn are quite friendly and are not above befriending certain humans with good hearts. These rare exceptions may even enjoy a starry ride on Lunequyn’s back, as Lunequyn has the ability to fly by producing a ‘road’ of stars from her hooves.

---------------------------------------------------

Both done with sharpie and colored pencils (Lunequyn also has glitter on her hooves and sides, but they didn't show up on the scan -_- Sorry 'bout that).
