Name: Charaptor
Attacks: Double Team, Double Edge, Flame Thrower, Dragon Rage, Fire Blast, Smokescreen, Fire Storm (Charaptor combusts into flames while performing an array of physical attacks), Slash, Razor Edge, Bite, Leer, Arial Ace, Seismic Toss, Iron Tail and Take Down.
Evolution Level: N/A
Evolution Form: Evolves from Charizard who reside on the Isla Del Fuego; a giant volcanic island.
Location: Isla Del Fuego in the Sapharic Region.
Type: Fire/Flying
Description: A researcher on the Isla Del Fuego reported that he’d seen a large group of Charizard on the island. When he returned a few weeks later with a team, they were shocked to see that the Charizard evolved into a sleeker, smaller, more intelligent creature with beautiful feather wings (turns out that the floors of the volcanic caves were encrusted with very potent fire stones). They described the Pokemon as “intelligent enough to know we weren’t a threat, but aggressive enough to let us know we weren’t wanted on their island”. The island was classified as ‘Restricted’ until the local researchers discovered that the Charaptor hibernate in the belly of the volcano during the winter, opening the island up as ‘Seasonal’ so that locals and tourists may visit the island and collect the lovely feathers the Charaptor molt out before winter. Not much is known about where the Charizard came from or why they evolved. The lead male is the only one with a fiery crown over his feather crest. They are great fliers, but seem to have a fear of water, so they never leave the island. They exceed in double-battles; working best with another Charaptor; but they are very difficult to train.

Done with sharpies and colored pencils/BG added with GIMP. My second attempt at drawing a raptor since 2003. No ref; was inspired after watching The Lost World: Jurassic Park. I seen the result was good, and thought it'd be cool to make a raptor Pokemon.
