Name: Ursno ("Ursa"; Latin for bear; and Snow)

Attacks: Tackle, Headbutt, Horn, Fury Swipes, Claw, Sweet Face and Agility.

Special Attacks: Snow Storm (Summons a snow storm with it's infant-like cry)

Evolution Level: 45

Evolution Form: Evolves into Blizzursa

Location: Sapharic Region--Glacier Island

Type: Ice

Description: Ursno are restricted to Glacier Island where they train with their higher-level counterparts. These 'Tundra Bears' as the trio are often reffered to, learn from the time they're cubs to train for battle. Very few trainers take on the daunting task of training an Ursno, because the little cub can NOT leave Glacier Island until it evolves, least it's delicate snowflake ears melt and leave the little fellow deaf. Anyones who wishes to take on one of these cuties must be willing to train it on Glacier Island for 2-5 years. It's armor is made of ice and can also melt if Ursno ventures into the tropical regions of the Sapharic.


Name: Blizzursa (Blizzard and Ursa)

Attacks: Take Down, Fury Swipes, Iron Claw, Scratch, Horn, Headbutt, Agility, Bite, Slash, Ice Beam and Blizzard

Special Attacks: Ricochet (Purposely gets itself in the line of fire so that its opponants attacks bounce off Blizzursa's armor and back at the opponent).

Evolution Level: 117

Evolution Form: Evolves from Ursno/Evolves into Avursalanche

Location: Sapharic Region--Glacier Island

Type: Ice

Description: Once your cute little Ursno evolves into Blizzursa, pack up your parka and hop the next ship back home, because your Tundra Bear in ready to get in that arena and win you some battles! Blizzursa are superb in Jousting, for their speed and power easily allows them to provide more force for the lance and it's agility keeps it from getting knocked out by elemental attacks. This Pokemon can turn on a dime and it's Unmeltable Ice Armor protects it from hard attacks. The impermeable beneath the armor keeps your Tundra Bear from suffering a painful puncture wound caused by a flying lance-tip. Though the Armor cannot be melted, it can be broken. If your Blizzursa breaks it's armor, take it back to Glacier Island to get repaired.


Name: Avursalanche (Ursa and Avalanche)

Attacks: Seismic Toss, Body Slam, Icy Wind, Sword Dance, Bite, Slash, Double Team, Leer, Scary Face and Growl.

Special Attacks: Frostbite (Bites it's opponent and releases a freezing agent secreted from its fangs. The opponant is now frozen from the inside out.), and Avalanche (Unleashes a powerful roar that summons Avalanches, even on the beach!)

Evolution Level: N/A

Evolution Form: Evolves from Blizzursa

Location: Sapharic Region--Glacier Island

Type: Ice

Description: If you're lucky enough to get your Blizzursa to this level, prepare to be virtually undefeatable. Avursalanche are huge, tough, powerhouse Pokemon with a mighty fearsome appearance and a never-say-die attitude. It can no longer walk on all-fours, so hang up your lance and introduce your Tundra Bear to the vigerous pleasures of battling in the Pokemon League. It's armor is so tough, it can withstand temperatures from -200 degrees Celcius to 8,000 degrees Farenheit! It's impermeable covers all vulnerable spots and provides for top-notch protection. In the wild, Avursalanche train their own offspring in case they are called to battle to help the great Ice Cat, Phangora, with whom they share the Island.
