Reimagined

"Reimagined"

Faeren had to have the first painting of the new year, so I pulled up an old sketch that’d been loitering around on my harddrive since last May. 

It’s unfinished, but I think I’m finally done messing about with it.

Story behind it? Not much. Saw a jacket design that made me go all starry-eyed, and I suddenly wanted to draw a modern-ish Faeren to wear it. 

Still had to incorporate mossy patterns and butterfly wings, of course. :) 

Faeren’s face is an updated, more realistic version of my old “Forest Secret” portrait of him. Lazy, I know, but I have next to zero free time these days.
