Hi there! n.n I'm back! I spend a TON of time on this site looking for stolen art/tracings/etc and can assure you with 100% of my confidence that this was not traced 
I looked at both pics o.o there's no way. On top of all the subtle differences, there's always a certain...life to pictures when they're done by diff artists. 
 
So don't worry Sakayume n.n I'm on your side with this one! 
...except T.T;;;; one of the new rules (well...they're not so new anymore) is you can't have pictures straight-up copied from other pics. So, uh.....yeah. Do something about that n.n;;

go on, take a good look. not all the details match up. i had to change her hair a little so it'd all fit on my paper, for example. 
actually, i guess i should take it as a compliment that my pic came out so accurate, ne? -.- thanks. really.

i copied it from the strategy guide -.- i admitted that. but i don't trace, genius. i just have an eye for detail.

The entire pic is wonderfully done. Amazing linework and detail in this. I tried a X-2 pic of Rikku and it was a small disaster. I got X2 for christmas too, and I can't stop playing it. ^^ And I like the scarf, the texture is very interesting.

Wow, It looks a lot like Rikku! I got the game for X-mas as well, woth the limited edition strategy guide (The one that comes with the art book) The game rocks and so does this pic! XD

first of all, the face is PERFECT! the eyes is just wonderful, and the hair looks WAY awsome. the pose is nice too and ya got the outfit perfect as well. the only thing that boders me is her legs, they look kinda thin to me. but thats it! i adore this pic! its TO good for a first try drawing FF. I give you 9/10! I couldtn done it better my self! *claps hands*

I got that for xmas too!!! o_O Except I didn't get the strategy guide... I should buy it... I wanted FFVII, but my dad couldn't find it... -_-;; (I pointed it out to him...) Anyway, nice pic! Rikku is very amusing sometimes, very... blonde... ^^;; I'm in the Zanarkand Ruins, fighting the big stupid guard monster...

very nice n.n haven't seen the strategy guide, but make sure you change enough of it so it's not breaking the rules (Denis says no straight copying.....)

Great pic. You colored and drew it so well. The scarf is amazing the way the colors blend so nicely. Her face is really pretty. I love her hair too! Overal just a great pic. Can't wait to see more of you pics.
