Description

An acrylic painting of the manga character Fran. The title states the manga's name. I read the scanlations from SnoopyCool.com and really liked it. My new art teacher allowed me to paint her. It's my first painting, so please be nice with the criticism. ^-^
Our new teacher allows the class to do more than the other one, so a lot more of my work will hopefully be from the class.

Well, they're not hard really, but there's a certain way to do it. I personally don't like it much lol. I recommend you take a class, OR you can just wing it and see how you do lol

Remember, tho, acrylics and oils are different. Acrylics dry a helluva lot faster. Oils take FOREVER to dry. yay~

Ooooh very nice job painting! I've only used acryllics a couple of times, and I don't remember how it went because I think I used them for larger projects like painting a chair to donate to chair-ies jubilee. Her hair is super beautiful! There could be a few more loose strands I think, and her hand seems a bit big. Very nice highlighting, yupyup! The background is quite neat as well =D

I had the teacher do the loose strands for me. I couldn't get that teenybeeny brush to do what I wanted it to. frack YOU BRUSH! frack YOU! *cries*

I had to coax my teacher into letting me do it. She had never worked with anime styled stuff before, so she was a little weird about it. She just had to help with the shading and background while I worried about the style.
Heh...yeah...thanks again and stuff...
