on the first one the eyes are too far apart and somehow the mouth looks like it should be moved to the right a bit more. but the second one is soooo kawaii!! *huggs* but yes the tears do look slightly like popcorn, try making them more oval shaped? i hope that this helps you ^-^keep it up!

That's so cute!Seriously.
Maybe for the fist one you could draw the eyes a little closer and wider.
But the second one is just too cute^^
