Title comes from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iypUpv9xelg

ANYWAY, these are my newest abominations, Ghostie (the big green one) and Requiem (the little cute one). THEY'RE GHOSTS. XD Um, they're complicated ghosts though. For one, their powers and forms vary based on things from their past lives. Ghostie has three forms which he has limited control over, while Requiem only has one. Meanwhile, they both have the power to slightly change their size. It can never quit be pegged how one ghost got one way and another ghost got another way. It's a total shot in the dark...

For another, the big gauntlets they're wearing are what's shackling them to the spirit world. It's punishment for something they did in their previous lives. The more gauntlets you have, the worse you were. Requiem only has one...while Ghostie has five. I THINK WE KNOW WHO OUR TROUBLE MAKER IS.

Um, but the only way to get a gauntlet (and I'm speaking SINGLE gauntlet here) off is to haunt a human and help them in a way that is inconspicuous and greatly merited. Popping in, introducing yourself if they haven't been scared off yet, and helping them open their stuck window ISN'T a way to loose your gauntlets...

The hardest gauntlet to loose is the neck gauntlet, because you have to make the chain disappear first. The chain is tricky, because it's constantly morphing depending on how much effort you're putting into becoming better. The more positive state of mind you have, the shorter the chain gets.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THEM AS INDIVIDUALS NOW...

Starting with Requiem. =3

So anyway, goody-goody Requiem there either had few gauntlets to start with, or he's lost most of them by now. In fact, he'd probably be free of the spirit world by now if he hadn't decided to spend more time helping Ghostie out rather than his last human. And this isn't anyone's choice but his own. In fact, he's set up a one-sided friendship with Ghostie, who actually wishes Reqiuem would just leave him alone. Requiem must've really turned over a new leave upon becoming a ghost, because he's a real sweet guy...

They only remember bits and pieces of their past lives, and most of those are only pieces that are beneficial to them. Names, hobbies, anything else that isn't important to their otherworldly task had been lost to them, so he doesn't remember what he did to end up there. I'd like to think he was a good guy who just got caught up in the wrong things. =/

Personality-wise, he's eccentric, childish, and clingy. You would normally expect him to be annoying in that manner, but he's not really. He's knows when to chill out. Unless you're Ghostie. Then he'll bother the hell out of you.

Requiem's size on average is about that of a healthy cantaloupe, but will morph bigger or smaller from time to time, only able to morph so far. He can't be, like, giant or anything, you know?

NOW FOR GHOSTIE.

Ghostie is your expected opposite. He's snarky, cruel, and pessimistic. He's hardly attempted to loose his gauntlets at all, mostly because he doesn't think he'll ever reach his goal anyway. He's not all doom and gloom though. He likes to mess with supernatural experts when he catches them hanging around, and has an affinity for Oingo Boingo music (hence the title) and Dr. Pepper, even though it's difficult for him to drink it with no digestive system. I think he pretty much just drinks it and it goes into a dimensional void or...something. XD Uh...Requiem noticed Ghostie's lack of enthusiasm and decided to hang around a "motivate" him, and the "friendship" has been formed ever since. If Requiem ever gets exorcised, Ghostie will probably never miss him...except maybe a little. Try and get him to admit it though.
