Our 12th picture in my ‘Ode to Childhood’ series!
As usual, a resident of my childhood “underwater world”. ^_^ It’s the mermaid queen, the mother of the mermaid princess (that makes sense!). You can kind of see the resemblance. She’s a wise queen, very calm and peaceful.
Random: Not as cool of a trident as her daughter! In fact…she’s pretty modest with the finery for a queen I suppose…her crystal ball was pretty fun though. I tried to make its contents seem a bit vapor-ish. Had to color some of the original up because my scanner wouldn’t take some of the color. (I think I like her daughter a bit better…) Anyway….enough of my rambling! Enjoy!
