Our 22nd picture in my “Ode to Childhood” series!
As usual, residents of my childhood ‘underwater world.’ I drew a large amount of merchildren as a child, and here are the first two! In this picture, the boy is proudly showing off his priced catch (Don’t worry!! It’s not dead!! Just KO’ed) to the girl. She’s not thrilled. ^_^ ha ha. She holds a bottle of perfume and a doll.
Random: I’m proud of the expressions, and well as the perfume fumes. I’ve noticed a great deal of my mergirls have dolls….and my merboys have slingshots….O_O Interesting.

Ha ha ha, mer-Barbie. That leads me to wonder, though...we have exotic Barbies that are mer-maids, right? Do you suppose mer-people would have exotic Barbies that are human?Anyway, good picture, love the look on the boy's face!
