Description

this picture, was originally lacking Jac.
i decided to ad him later when i started coloring the pic on photoshop. i have to say, though, i wish i drew a mallet somewhere or a weapon, but i didn't have the time for that.
orignally sketched with pen, then finished with photoshop

shading is simple. just find a light source and understand the light paths.

just play around with it. there are always different types of shading.
llike abstract shading(i don't like that much. just find yourself a light source and that's allthere too it.
it just requires a little thinking

i think pics with shading looks better... i like to shade my pics to but i can't get it how i'd like to...

yeah..that's where you'll have to play around withthe shadow a bit, observe your surroundings more closely. study the shadows of your natural environment. that's how i learned, but i amtil that that greath when it comes to texture

well.. i used the school's photoshop. it was CS
butnow we hve CS2 for this school year so i am a little excited. plus, i get to play arond with the school's tablet that is available. and i don't have to share it even though there is only one.i guess i am favored? i don't know. i like to make traditional works more than digitalized. but i LOVE vectoringeffects. i wanna try those.

i have gor CS2 at home because my dada is photographer xD
our school don't have good computers but headmaster drives new and expensive car.. -_____- whatever... could you say something more about those tablets?where to get?

WOW!!! i wish i could get CS2 without me pying for it...

tablets?? well... the good ones are pretty expensive. you konw wht a tablet is. the price depends on the size. my school has a 6" by 8", so it costs about $350. it's a wacom tablet.

i bet other product types are less expensive, but probably less reliable or something. i don't know any other products besides wacom. it's best not to buy them online. go to any electronic store(like Fry's or best buy) that's really big on stuff like tht. or you could serch and gather info online anywhere.
