One of Ariel's sisters from Disney's Little Mermaid. I always thought they were portrayed as really ditzy dumb girls. Just because they weren't the main heroine of the story doesn't mean they have to be so unattractive, right? I mean, they are still mermaid princesses, dang it. they deserve to be just as gorgeous and charismatic as Ariel.

Art wise...I really really am NOT good at backgrounds or foregrounds or really anything that isn't a mermaid in this picture. Lol. And I have no idea if there are actual fish that look like that, or seaweed (wait, coral?) that looks like that. But hey! Artistic license, me hearties...

Purple with yellow? I have not seen that color combination on fish before! It looks great! She looks great. It is almost like a blend between Meg from Hercules and a mermaid form the Little Mermaid! 8D
