Another Comic Book tribute this time, a little different. This time from DC's run on Tarzan by Joe Kuberthttp://www.comicvine.com/tarzan-207-origin-of-the-ape-man-book-one/4000-12106/ This is based off the Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs and this is my favorite interpretations of Tarzan and one of the main reasons why Joe Kubert is one of my favorite artists. And with this pic I added the the leopard cloth to his shoulders as with some interpretations do, because I think he looks better that way and I decided to use Gorillas as well.

Guess that's the way Tarzan has to solve issues with apemen. ;)Small tip: I'd draw the leopard pattern spots one or maybe two times bigger than in your painting, or at least that much thicker. That is some great tips you have given. I'll keep that in mind when I draw Tarzan the next time.
