I was going to just upload this in full pensil, but looking at it on computer it was clear that I should ink it.  This is just a sketch I did at a party.  It is loosely based on the events of ER: Broken Mirror.

Sylis is not very proficient with the sword, he kept it as a trophy from a fight.  While still starting to understand demonspeak he heard "Transverse Blade" and assumed it to be the weapons name, where what was said was "it's a transversers blade."  So not it's name but simply the type of object it is.

Enjoy

Jadislol he's killing bugs and two headed demon cows
named for what it is in another language, sort of like naming a cat Don Gato.
I like how you drew him in motion with his hair and coat blowing back. the really huge bug is cute too would not want to fight that one. bugs are tough,
why is he using the sword, is it better against bugs than his guns? I could see how it might be easier to skewer a bug that shoot it.

truegamerYep, still working on demon concepts.  The cow I was thinking was going to be a Gluttonous Demon.  The giant bug has a heavy hint toward Phantom from Devil May Cry, he will not be featured in ER: Broken Mirror.
Very similar, but Sylis is starting to understand, otherwise he would have named it something more like "╙▐{¢░╩."  No one would understand a title like that. Demonspeak doesn't have recognizable sounds or letters.  But like any language it can be learned with time.  When Sylis starts to understand it, it will be written in English rather than Symbols.
Really it was just concept art of him with the sword.  He only used it once while living.  It was used for his last kill.  The sword will have a lot of backstory that will explain Transversers, tranversing weapons and other oddities in Hell.  I'm also considering a 'Hollow Sylis' who is more powerful, his eyes appear white, and he relies even more so on instinct, which alarmingly does not change his gun use, but he improves vastly with the sword.  May be an idea I scrap, but only time will tell.
