This Adventure With You

This drawing is from 2015 that I decided to redraw recently after completing two years of Figure drawing classes.  I had a great teacher who taught me a lot about the human figure a chiaroscuro.  He didn't teach us much else in the relatively short time.  But if I've learned anything in life it is that mastering the basics is more important than anything else in any skill.  
I wanted to post this to be compared to my actual redraw which I will be posting shortly.
