Description

If you're thinking this is not a Chocobo, you would be wrong.

This is a real life study of my good friend. Perhaps should have pushed the shading further but I like it.

The medium is slightly misleading - it was done with a charcoal pencil.

nice job on the hair. yeah, i agree the shading could be a tad more... racy but it's nice. i like the eyebrow for some reason.

it's cool! I'm practicing on drawing real people too but I just use pictures as references (I would post them but darn scanner) good job and hope your friend appriciates it! also did you do this pic while looking at him or a picture or just from memory?

I did it while looking at him. We had to take turns for like a half hour just sitting and staring at one spot... Veeeeery boring!

that acually sounds a little funny, like if he or you sneezed and ruined the whole picture, even though that would have been horrible to have it ruined it wouldv'e been something to laugh at.
