Okay, they may not be literal historical figures, but this was the best category for them so chill!
I did this for an English Portfolio I was doing. It was a quick sketch and I feel in love with it. I do Civil War re-enacting as a hobby so this picture was pretty easy and fun to do. I totally want that girls dress! ^_^ Now, it may look like a 'bad' scene...but it's NOT. He is going off to war and they are childhood friends. She had been married off years ago, but to her, he would always be her true love. She is trying to save herself from heart break, but he just has to get that one last goodbye in. Pretty sad when you think about it that way huh?

Thanks! lol, I had a lot of mental reference for the uniform. I don't think I got it quit right though, it's too simple. So glad you liked it though!!
