Glad you got some ideas forming. I hope you two start up fan fiction again too. If you want to make a nightmarish creature for  NBC fan character, I know some ghouls/ species few people ever use. There's ware-tigers (similar ware-wolves, but tiger-like), harpies (banshee/ vampire like female spirits with bat/ haw wings), dryads, thalliads (like dryads but personifies moss and mushrooms) Jack the Ripper (not a ghoul, but he'd make a cool villain), avatars (not like the cartoon, I mean a deity who takes a human body)...there's crap loads more. Look on wickapedia.com for more info. I was just making suggestions because I know a lot of people get stuck on how to avoid mary sue characters. I know you and Jess will come up with some neat ideas though. Once you do, post a pic so I can see

Beetlejuice is  AWESOME! There used to be an animated series of it that kicked @$$ as well way back when I was a little kid. I love weird cartoons and movies. The weirder the better. Speaking of which, watch the Aqua Teen Hunger Force colon Movie Film for Theaters movie (I know, long title) Even if you hate ATHF, you'll find the beginning where the snack foods are putting on a metal concert funny as frack.
