The bandit leader is REALLY easy to kill. You dont need that bad a weapon eiva. I used an obsidian greataxe ^_^
All you have to do is keep rolling out of the way of his attacks and then when he uses both his swords to jam into the ground, you attack him from behind.
In his tent there are a few chests and barrels.

ooooohhh, well you haffta crouch down behind a rock, then when the guard isnt looking (the eye in the corner is shut) run as fast as you can to the gates, thats what i did

yeah sorry, i didnt want to write it all out unless you were interested, it takes a while but its worth it. ok well you need a spade. ok go to rose cottage and there is a flower bed to the left of the cottage, if you dig there you get a silver key, and then there is some vines kinda behind the cottage, cut them down and open the chest and you get 500gold, now go and talk to the granny in the cottage, and skip what she says, she'll give you a hexagon key (its important that you get this) now teleport to the the guild or someplace nearby, except greatwood cullis gate and it should say either stay or reload from before you did the quest, choose to reload, then when its done you will still have the 500gold and the silver key. do this 20 times (i no it sounds boring but its worth it)and dont forget to get the hexagon key each time or it wont work. when you're done you will have 20 silver keys and 10,000gold. buy lots of supplies and stuff and then go to the guild. to the right of the melee arena is a chest, if you open this it has a murren greathammer, which does a ton of damage(270 i think), the only problem is that its heavy, but its really worth it to get a weapon that strong. sorry it sounds really boring to do, but it comes in handy, especially against the bandit leader guy.

the bandit clothes are in chests, you just have to keep defeating the bandits, i have a really good cheat if your interested, it uses the rose cottage quest, so you would have to start a new game, but you get a really good weapon then its easy to defeat the bandits.

I've wrote a little (well, big) walkthrough of the bandit quest, but my email sending thing has broke... It rebels! I'll send as soon as it's fixed!

glad you like it so much. i haven't really been writing too terribly much, the characters kinda ran away. i'll have to find them so they can finish the story. not sure if it has a happy ending or not. but thanks for the comment and the favs.
