My Mini-Dictionary Of Usefullness
Shounen-Ai: Not Yaoi. It's the difference between fluff and lemon. Fluffy slash.
Yaoi: Boy on boy. Boy on boy sex. Too bad for you.
Mary-Sue: An original character going beyond the bounds of possible reality, becoming 'perfect' and always getting the guy/s.
Fluff: Light, often humorous romance or just... fluffy happy stuff.
Lemon, Lime, Citrussy Fruit: Smut! Snogging! Sex sex sex!
Self-Insert: Usually not a Mary-Sue
Out-of character: A canon character who acts as if she or he is entirely different than as portrayed in the series.
