I really like to write. I know what among my stuff is well-written and what is just 'spewage' meaning an idea took hold and wouldn't let me concentrate on other things until it got paper space. I can almost always tell the same things about another person's work. I have a problem with people who thing they've made something lovely when it's really crap, but I try to be constructive. If I say something good I mean it. I am no pictoral artist, but I enjoy it greatly, especially well-drawn.
